Advance information about the yield and other aspects are very important especially for marketing of the produce.  The cassava simulation model SIMCAS which was developed by CTCRI is applied here for this agro advisory service. The location- and variety-specific potential tuber yield under given weather conditions is calculated by this module. The most suitable planting time to achieve maximum tuber yield in a given locality is also found out by this module. This module recommends proper management strategies to be folowed to reduce losses in moisture, nitrogen and potassium and to maximize yield by applying the required amounts of moisture, nitrogen and potassium at the proper time.
